When conducting an experiment by using data logger, I found that it gives us a lot of benefits in collecting data and present the data. Data logger or data recorder is an electronic device used to record data over time. One of the benefit is it can operate independently of a computer. The data logger will be connected to the computer as we finished collecting the data. Data loggers are available in many shapes and sizes which make them easier to be carried to other places. Besides that, the data recorded are more accurate than the data that are collected manually. All the parallax and random errors can be avoided when using this data logger. Whenever we take any data manually, the data are affected by the way the observers take the reading. It is also can collects many data at one time since it is equipped with many input. The sensor must be inserted starting from the right of the data logger. The data that we get also can be stored for a long time in the data logger. Other than that, it can help to collect data for an experiment that required long time taken such as experiment of fermentation. We do not have to come to the laboratory frequently to monitor the experiment and record the data.
